For the past
20 years I have been lucky enough to be involved in
marketing and promotion in a number of different
industries including software, hardware,
telecommunications, and most recently cable television.
No matter what the industry, the greatest challenge in

As a rule of thumb, I believe that a headline must be 10
words or less. If you can not describe the BENEFIT of your
product or service in 10 words or less then you have not
thought about it enough. The headline is the beginning of
